FootPrints School is a special needs school with a difference. We currently have 45 pupils ranging from Grade 0 to Grade 7. Our children have varied “labels” that have been attached to them by outside sources.

Minnieland Is an exclusive registered crèche and Pre-school. Our focus is on a warm and friendly environment giving exposure to all our children in all fields : education, social interaction and extra mural activities.

Minnieland caters for the working parent, providing for all the needs, of you and your child. (Excludes nappies and baby formula).

We cater for children between the age’s birth to six years, and concentrate on all aspects of the child’s well being.

Our teachers are experienced and qualified and offer an all rounded education. Reports and assessments are given twice a year, to enable parents to be aware of their children’s progress. Staff to children ratio: Nursery section: 5 to 1 and Pre-school 15 to 1

Set in tranquil park-like surroundings, Japari provides a caring, friendly and personal approach to pupils who are encouraged and guided to take their rightful place as confident, independent members of society. At Japari, cognisance is taken of the overall emotional and creative development of each child, through the active boosting of self-esteem and endeavour.

It is the wish of every parent that his or her child is a happy and confident person. When a new learner arrives at Japari with a totally negative self-concept which may have been gained through struggling in mainstream schools, the concerted efforts of the multidisciplinary team and the committed teaching staff bring about a visible change in the child’s view of himself. The child is able to participate in and experience a qualitatively different way of thinking and problem solving, enabling optimal exploitation of future options.

Flamboyant School has been in existence since 1985 and was started in response to the need for remedial education in the Mpumalanga Lowveld. Flamboyant operates within a non-discriminatory, Christian ethos and we aspire to provide every pupil with the opportunities and skills to achieve to their full potential.

ELSEN Academy is a school that caters specifically for children with learning challenges, e.g. ADHD/ADD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, etc. It is presently a primary school but plans to phase in a high school section beginning with Grade 8 in 2008.

Crossroads School understands that there are many children whose needs are not being met in mainstream primary schools .These children and their parents need guidance and assistance . This is what Crossroads is dedicated to doing.

Cedarwood School  is a small primary school in the congenial setting of Glenferness, north of Lonehill, for children who have mild to moderate support needs which prevent them from coping adequately in a mainstream school environment.

Bellavista School is an independent preparatory school for children with learning potential, who are experiencing specific or generalised learning difficulties which prevent them from achieving success in a mainstream school environment.

Our teacher – pupil ratio is high. We work as a dedicated, professional staff, each child receiving appropriate help from teachers, therapists and the school principal to ensure their success. We believe a holistic multidisciplinary approach is beneficial for each child to reach his/ her potential.
