The Fees for the 8 month course include the following:

- 3 Meals a day
- Basic house keeping and laundry services
- Use of the Academy horses and Equipment during the 8 months
- Tuition fees and daily riding lessons with Qualified Instructor
- All course work and notes
- SANEF Exams
- Text book usage
- First Aid Course
- Stud Management Exam
- Transport in the Academy bus to and from the student accommodation and on field excursions and outings/visits to various stud farms and other equestrian facilities.
- Each student receives one free The Equestrian Academy branded Golf Shirt with logo. (other 'The Equestrian Academy' branded clothing are available to purchase which include a microfleece top, body warmer, jacket and shirt for students to wear during their course as well as on outings to shows and on field trips)
After successful completion of the SANEF Exams the following levels of national qualifications are obtained:
- SANEF Certificate of Stable Yard Skills Stage 1 (Module 1) NQF1
- SANEF Certificate of Stable Yard Skills Stage 2 (Module 2) NQF2
- SANEF Certificate of Horsemastership (Module 3)NQF 3
Other Exams written:
- First Aid Level 1
- Advanced Stud Management
The Equestrian Academy will assist students with placements at Stud Farms to gain their further compulsory 2 months practical experience before they write the Advanced Stud Management Exam.
Careers:
Career paths after successful completion of the course include amongst others Professional Groom, Equestrian Centre/Stable Yard Manager, Stud Manager, Trail Guide, position at Racing Yards and many more. The National Instructor's plan has identified approximately fourteen major career paths (riding and non-riding) in the Equestrian & Equine Industry.
