Fourways High caters for students from Grade 8-12. It is a community school committed to providing the best possible education to all students who live within the feeder area of the school. The school aims to develop each learner to his or her maximum potential, in an environment that seeks to nurture every talent, be it academic, cultural, in sport and in leadership.
Fourways began its inception in 1989 with a small group of children and staff. Nineteen years later it has grown to one of the biggest co-educational schools in Gauteng playing host to nearly 1,400 pupils. We are extremely proud of this fact realising that we are involved in moulding so many eager minds and potential leaders.
With South Africa being host to the World Cup soccer of 2010, Fourways has decided to implement our own 2010 plan to become the top co-educational school in the whole of Gauteng, if not the country. We believe it is a very achievable goal and are already more than halfway to success. With exciting new developments already underway and many more on the drawing board it is only a matter of time before Fourways is confirmed as the dominant co-educational force in Gauteng.
