Doxa Deo School |Â College
Doxa Deo Tshwane East School was founded in 1998 and currently has 490 learners from Gr RRR to Gr 7. Doxa Deo College, our High School, started in 2003 and currently has 230 students from Gr 8 - Gr 12. Doxa Deo College had its first Matrics in 2007.
At Doxa Deo School | College we celebrate the development of each student at the School and College to their full potential in Christ through our Passion for God, Passion for People, Passion for Growth and a Passion for the Future.
In living out our passion to develop leaders to their full potential in Christ, we also believe in passing on a positive, affirming legacy to our learners through sport. To be able to succeed in life, children need to learn more than just accounting, reading, writing and geometry. They need to learn the fine art of relating to people. If they learn how to relate well to others, they'll have an edge in the game of life. Our new Sports Ground Development aims to do just that. We wish to teach our students to gain insight and the social skills necessary to cultivate healthy, stable relationships through sports. Respect, teamwork and perserverance are sometimes best taught on the sportsfield. Sport activities at the School and College include Athletics, Swimming, Rugby, Netball, Table Tennis, Hockey, Cross Country, Softball, Cricket and Soccer.
Doxa Deo also has an Arts program, providing a wide range of various arts programmes, as well as an Impromptu Arts Festival.
After Care Centre
Doxa Deo's After Care Centre form part of this dream to develop each child through dedicated and professional aftercare teachers and personnel. This Centre is therefore an extension of the School and falls under the hospices of the School's value systems and educational principals. We strive to serve each child through positive relationships as we all have the same dream namely to develop your child spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially in a safe environment.
