School Description

Flamboyant School has been in existence since 1985 and was started in response to the need for remedial education in the Mpumalanga Lowveld. Flamboyant operates within a non-discriminatory, Christian ethos and we aspire to provide every pupil with the opportunities and skills to achieve to their full potential.

We cater for pupils from Grade 1 to Grade 9 who are of average to above average intellect and who have barriers to effective learning as mentioned below. Parallel medium English and Afrikaans classes are offered.

Flamboyant has a small, homely boarding facility which caters for a maximum of 30 boys only (from Grade 4 to Grade 9) on a weekly basis. Only children who live too far for daily commuting will be considered for boarding.

Flamboyant School is an independent school with full membership of Independent Schools' Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) and Southern African Heads of Independent Schools Association (SAHISA).
