Bellville Technical High School strives to be a career-orientated school which provides the foundation for further training in any technical field.  Should a learner choose not to further his/her studies in a technical direction, he/she will be able to study in any other direction at a tertiary institution.

The motto of Bellville Technical High School (BTHS) is, in the fullest sense, also its major goal: to produce a pupil fully-equipped to face the future challenges of the technological profession.  This entails professional instruction through the medium of English and Afrikaans at the highest levels in the three major areas;  namely the sciences, humanities and technology.
