Brescia House School, situated in the heart of Bryanston, was established in January 1966 with 196 pupils. Over time, the school has developed an excellent reputation for the development of outstanding young girls who, benefiting from a well-rounded and balanced education, are able to make a meaningful contribution to society.

The school was started by the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union at the request of the Bishop, who felt a need for a Catholic girls’ school in the area. We are proud to be a part of a worldwide Ursuline network of schools that educates thousands of learner annually. The motto of the school, ‘Serviam’ means ‘I will serve’, and a spirit of service to the community is encouraged in the pupils.

Whilst remaining true to the vision of our founders, we welcome pupils of all denominations, encouraging them to explore many aspects of religion and spirituality.

The environment at Brescia House School is a caring one; where the primary need of each child to belong is met, pupils are accepted and appreciated for who they are, and are respected and valued as important individuals.
