When I was a student at cowan, that is where I gained confidence, self assurance, public speaking and music knowledge.What was more amazing was to be taught how to sing by a person who hiself cannot sing with his voice, but can bring about and train learners how to sing in sweet tone and beautiful voices. That still amazes me even today. Doc Mkonto uya rocka tata. Thank you for digging out my talent of singing.Uyababa njenge chillies. I went of that school a better person and a responsible person. Thanx to all my educators of that time.

In the time i spent at Cowan High School, i learnt to be myself and express myself in any way i felt, without offending the others. Cowan High School is one of the best public high school there are in the Eastern Cape.
