The first 6 years of a child’s life is a unique period, during which the child develops an estimated two thirds of his/her ultimate intellectual ability. He/she also develops the core of his/her personality, as well as his/her social and emotional disposition. Our aim is to develop the whole child, i.e. physically, spiritually, emotionally, socially and intellectually.

For many of you this will be the first time you and your children will be separated. As they grow up and become more independent, they need security both at home and at school to ensure a smooth transition from the known, their family, to the unknown, the ‘Crawford’ family. Your children are in excellent hands while here at school and our trained staff will guide and protect them through the day giving them exciting, stimulating and age appropriate activities.

The more you are able to tell your child about their Pre-Primary and the rules and routines, the more at home they will feel in their new surroundings.

The first 6 years of a child’s life is a unique period, during which the child develops an estimated two thirds of their ultimate intellectual ability. He/she also develops the core of their personality, as well as their social and emotional disposition. Our curriculum takes this into account and offers a stimulating, thought provoking and age appropriate curriculum for each grade.

Our aim is to develop the whole child, i.e. physically, spiritually, emotionally, socially and intellectually.

Our school programme offers a balance of free choice activities and teacher directed time. During free choice time, the child is free to choose where he would like to play and with whom, whilst during organised group time, the child and their group, under the guidance and direction of their teacher, participates in a variety of ‘rings’ such as music, movement, environmental education, technology  and physical education etc. During this time language, perceptual skills, independence and creativity are taught.
