The school is accommodating grades RRR - 7 this year.  We have mostly one class per grade except for our grade 1 and 2 classes as well as our grade 4 class. We follow a double medium approach up to grade 3 (English and Afrikaans in one class).  From grade 4 onward our language of instruction is English.  Our grade 1 and 2 classes however are split into separate English and Afrikaans medium classes (parallel medium).

Our school will be accommodating grades RRR - 7 in 2014.  We have two parallel medium classes (separate English and Afrikaans classes) per grade from grade 1 to 5. These classes will roll over until we will be fully parallel medium from grade 1 to 7 in 2016.  Our pre-school classes will still be double medium in 2014.  Our grade 6 and 7 learners in 2014 will be completing their primary school education in English.

Our primary school aftercare facility is also of the highest standard where the children can enjoy a nutritious lunch, rest a while and be guided in their homework by experienced personnel.   

We are also happy to announce that we have bus transport available from most areas around the dam as well as from Schoemansville, Brits and Akasia (Pretoria)

Doxa Deo School will eventually fill the whole 10 hectares of land and will accommodate 4 classes each from grade RRR - 12, with complete sport facilities as well as a music, dance and arts center.

Activities at the school already include equestrian, hockey, athletics, rugby, netball, tennis, swimming, cricket, soccer, music lessons, ballet classes, talent evenings, annual music concert, public speaking gala, school concert, science expo, entrepreneurial days as well as computer classes.

We are also involved in various outreach programs.  Our dream is to equip all our learners and help them to achieve their full potential in Christ, in order to be able to make a difference in society.

Tablet Technology in the classroom

It is with pleasure that we are able to announce the implementation of new technology in the classroom.  All the grade 4 to 7 learners will be using tablets in the classroom with the textbooks available as interactive learning material.  With an upgraded IT system to support this new technology and teachers who had extensive training we are very excited to be part of this ground breaking educational development.

After Care Centre
The Doxa Deo School After Care Centre form part of this dream to develop each child through dedicated and professional aftercare teachers and personnel. This Centre is therefore an extension of the School and falls under the hospices of the School's value systems and educational principals. We strive to serve each child through positive relationships as we all have the same dream namely to develop your child spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially in a safe environment.
